Bruges shawl collar

48" long, 5" deep at back neck.
Excellent condition, looks unused.  

A pieced bobbinlace collar with long frontpieces, probably Bruges Bloemwerk, very well done. Note the dense clothwork and accurately done contrasting halfstitch shading. Picoted roughly square bride grounds with occasional islands, which are also used as the flower fillings.
